SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human MTF1 (metal regulatory transcription factor 1) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human MTF1 qPCR Primer Set – metal regulatory transcription factor 1
Also known as: MTF-1, ZRF
About this gene: MTF1 encodes a transcription factor that induces expression of metallothioneins and other genes involved in metal homeostasis in response to heavy metals such as cadmium, zinc, copper, and silver. The protein is a nucleocytoplasmic shuttling protein that accumulates in the nucleus upon heavy metal exposure and binds to promoters containing a metal-responsive element.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4520; HGNC ID: HGNC:7428; UniProt: Q14872; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_005955.3; Chromosome location: 1p34.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
