About this gene: MSX1 belongs to the muscle segment homeobox gene family. The MSX1 protein acts as a transcriptional repressor during embryogenesis through interactions with components of the core transcription complex and other homeoproteins. The MSX1 gene product may also have roles in limb-pattern formation, craniofacial development, particularly odontogenesis, and tumor growth inhibition.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
