SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human MRPS7 (mitochondrial ribosomal protein S7, also called S7mt) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human MRPS7 qPCR Primer Set – mitochondrial ribosomal protein S7
Also known as: COXPD34, MRP-S, MRP-S7, RP-S7, RPMS7, S7mt, bMRP27a, uS7m
About this gene: Mammalian mitochondrial ribosomal proteins are encoded by nuclear genes and help in protein synthesis within the mitochondrion. Mitochondrial ribosomes consist of a small 28S subunit and a large 39S subunit. They have an estimated 75% protein to rRNA composition compared to prokaryotic ribosomes, where this ratio is reversed.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 51081; HGNC ID: HGNC:14499; UniProt: Q9Y2R9; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_015971.4; Chromosome location: 17q25.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
