SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human MRPS12 (mitochondrial ribosomal protein S12, also called MT-RPS12) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human MRPS12 qPCR Primer Set – mitochondrial ribosomal protein S12
Also known as: MPR-S12, MT-RPS12, RPMS12, RPS12, RPSM12, uS12m
About this gene: Mammalian mitochondrial ribosomal proteins are encoded by nuclear genes and help in protein synthesis within the mitochondrion. Mitochondrial ribosomes consist of a small 28S subunit and a large 39S subunit. They have an estimated 75% protein to rRNA composition compared to prokaryotic ribosomes, where this ratio is reversed.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 6183; HGNC ID: HGNC:10380; UniProt: O15235; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_033362.4; Chromosome location: 19q13.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
