Human MRE11 qPCR Primer Set – MRE11 double strand break repair nuclease
Also known as: ATLD, HNGS1, MRE11A, MRE11B
About this gene: MRE11 encodes a nuclear protein involved in homologous recombination, telomere length maintenance, and DNA double-strand break repair. By itself, the protein has 3' to 5' exonuclease activity and endonuclease activity. The protein forms a complex with the RAD50 homolog; this complex is required for nonhomologous joining of DNA ends and possesses increased single-stranded DNA endonuclease and 3' to 5' exonuclease activities.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4361; HGNC ID: HGNC:7230; UniProt: P49959; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_005591.4; Chromosome location: 11q21
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
