SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human MPL (MPL proto-oncogene, thrombopoietin receptor, also called TPO-R) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human MPL qPCR Primer Set – MPL proto-oncogene, thrombopoietin receptor
Also known as: C-MPL, CD110, MPLV, THCYT2, THPOR, TPOR
About this gene: In 1990 an oncogene, v-mpl, was identified from the murine myeloproliferative leukemia virus that was capable of immortalizing bone marrow hematopoietic cells from different lineages. In 1992 the human homologue, named, c-mpl, was cloned. Sequence data revealed that c-mpl encoded a protein that was homologous with members of the hematopoietic receptor superfamily.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4352; HGNC ID: HGNC:7217; UniProt: P40238; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_005373.3; Chromosome location: 1p34.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
