SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human MOCS2 (molybdenum cofactor synthesis 2, also called MOCS2B) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human MOCS2 qPCR Primer Set – molybdenum cofactor synthesis 2
Also known as: MCBPE, MOCO1, MOCODB, MOCODB1, MPTS
About this gene: Eukaryotic molybdoenzymes use a unique molybdenum cofactor consisting of a pterin, termed molybdopterin, and the catalytically active metal molybdenum. MoCo is synthesized from precursor Z by the heterodimeric enzyme molybdopterin synthase. The large and small subunits of molybdopterin synthase are both encoded from MOCS2 by overlapping open reading frames.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4338; HGNC ID: HGNC:7193; UniProt: O96007; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_004531.5; Chromosome location: 5q11.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
