Human MNDA qPCR Primer Set – myeloid cell nuclear differentiation antigen

Also known as: PYHIN3

About this gene: The myeloid cell nuclear differentiation antigen is detected only in nuclei of cells of the granulocyte-monocyte lineage. A 200-amino acid region of human MNDA is strikingly similar to a region in the proteins encoded by a family of interferon-inducible mouse genes, designated Ifi-201, Ifi-202, and Ifi-203. The 1.8-kb MNDA mRNA, which contains an interferon-stimulated response element in the 5-prime untranslated region, was significantly upregulated in human monocytes exposed to interferon alpha.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4332; HGNC ID: HGNC:7183; UniProt: P41218; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002432.3; Chromosome location: 1q23.1

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
