SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human MMP7 (matrix metallopeptidase 7, also called Matrin) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human MMP7 qPCR Primer Set – matrix metallopeptidase 7
Also known as: MMP-7, MPSL1, PUMP-1
About this gene: MMP7 belongs to the peptidase M10 family of matrix metalloproteinases. Proteins in this family are involved in the breakdown of extracellular matrix in normal physiological processes, such as embryonic development, reproduction, and tissue remodeling, as well as in disease processes, such as arthritis and metastasis. The encoded preproprotein is proteolytically processed to generate the mature protease.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4316; HGNC ID: HGNC:7174; UniProt: P09237; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002423.5; Chromosome location: 11q22.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
