SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human MKS1 (MKS transition zone complex subunit 1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human MKS1 qPCR Primer Set – MKS transition zone complex subunit 1
Also known as: BBS13, JBTS28, MES, MKS, POC12
About this gene: The MKS1 protein localizes to the basal body and is required for formation of the primary cilium in ciliated epithelial cells. Mutations in MKS1 result in Meckel syndrome type 1 and in Bardet-Biedl syndrome type 13.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 54903; HGNC ID: HGNC:7121; UniProt: Q9NXB0; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_017777.4; Chromosome location: 17q22
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
