SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human MRTFA (myocardin related transcription factor A, also called MRTF-A) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human MRTFA qPCR Primer Set – myocardin related transcription factor A
Also known as: BSAC, MAL, MKL, MKL1, MRTF-A
About this gene: The MRTFA protein interacts with the transcription factor myocardin, a key regulator of smooth muscle cell differentiation. The MRTFA protein is predominantly nuclear and may help transduce signals from the cytoskeleton to the nucleus. MRTFA is involved in a specific translocation event that creates a fusion of MRTFA and the RNA-binding motif protein-15 gene.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 57591; HGNC ID: HGNC:14334; UniProt: Q969V6; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_020831.6; Chromosome location: 22q13.1-q13.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
