About this gene: MKKS encodes a protein which shares sequence similarity with other members of the type II chaperonin family. The MKKS protein is a centrosome-shuttling protein and is important for cytokinesis. The MKKS protein also interacts with other type II chaperonin members to form a complex known as the BBSome, which involves ciliary membrane biogenesis.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
