SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PIAS2 (protein inhibitor of activated STAT 2, also called DIP) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PIAS2 qPCR Primer Set – protein inhibitor of activated STAT 2
Also known as: ARIP3, DIP, MIZ1, PIASX, SIZ2, ZMIZ4
About this gene: PIAS2 belongs to the protein inhibitor of activated STAT family, which function as SUMO E3 ligases and play important roles in many cellular processes by mediating the sumoylation of target proteins. Isoforms of the PIAS2 protein enhance the sumoylation of specific target proteins including the p53 tumor suppressor protein, c-Jun, and the androgen receptor. The symbol MIZ1 has also been linked to ZBTB17 which is a different gene located on chromosome 1.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 9063; HGNC ID: HGNC:17311; UniProt: O75928; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_004671.5; Chromosome location: 18q21.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
