SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human MIPEP (mitochondrial intermediate peptidase, also called MIP) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human MIPEP qPCR Primer Set – mitochondrial intermediate peptidase
Also known as: COXPD31, HMIP, MIP
About this gene: The product of MIPEP performs the final step in processing a specific class of nuclear-encoded proteins targeted to the mitochondrial matrix or inner membrane. The MIPEP protein is primarily involved in the maturation of oxidative phosphorylation-related proteins. MIPEP may contribute to the functional effects of frataxin deficiency and the clinical manifestations of Friedreich ataxia.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4285; HGNC ID: HGNC:7104; UniProt: Q99797; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_005932.4; Chromosome location: 13q12.12
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
