SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human MICAL2 (microtubule associated monooxygenase, calponin and LIM domain containing 2, also called Mical-cL) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human MICAL2 qPCR Primer Set – microtubule associated monooxygenase, calponin and LIM domain containing 2
Also known as: Ebitein1, MICAL-2, MICAL2PV1, MICAL2PV2, MICALCL, mical-cL
About this gene: The MICAL2 protein is a monooxygenase that enhances depolymerization of F-actin and is therefore involved in cytoskeletal dynamics. The MICAL2 protein is a regulator of the SRF signaling pathway. Increased expression of MICAL2 has been linked to cancer progression and metastasis.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 9645; HGNC ID: HGNC:24693; UniProt: O94851; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001282663.2; Chromosome location: 11p15.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
