SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human MICA (MHC class I polypeptide-related sequence A, also called MIC-A) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human MICA qPCR Primer Set – MHC class I polypeptide-related sequence A
Also known as: MIC-A, PERB11.1
About this gene: MICA encodes a highly polymorphic major histocompatability complex class I chain-related protein A. The protein product is expressed on the cell surface, although unlike canonical class I molecules it does not seem to associate with beta-2-microglobulin. The MICA gene product is a ligand for the NKG2-D type II integral membrane protein receptor. The protein acts as a stress-induced antigen that is broadly recognized by intestinal epithelial gamma delta T cells.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 100507436; HGNC ID: HGNC:7090; UniProt: Q29983; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001177519.3; Chromosome location: 6p21.33
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
