SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human MGST2 (microsomal glutathione S-transferase 2) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human MGST2 qPCR Primer Set – microsomal glutathione S-transferase 2
Also known as: GST2, MGST-II
About this gene: The MAPEG (Membrane Associated Proteins in Eicosanoid and Glutathione metabolism) family consists of six human proteins, multiple of which are involved in the production of leukotrienes and prostaglandin E, important mediators of inflammation. MGST2 encodes a protein which catalyzes the conjugation of leukotriene A4 and reduced glutathione to produce leukotriene C4.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4258; HGNC ID: HGNC:7063; UniProt: Q99735; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002413.5; Chromosome location: 4q31.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
