SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human MGLL (monoglyceride lipase, also called MGL) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human MGLL qPCR Primer Set – monoglyceride lipase
Also known as: HU-K5, HUK5, MAGL, MGL
About this gene: MGLL encodes a serine hydrolase of the AB hydrolase superfamily that catalyzes the conversion of monoacylglycerides to free fatty acids and glycerol. The MGLL protein plays a critical role in multiple physiological processes including pain and nociperception through hydrolysis of the endocannabinoid 2-arachidonoylglycerol. Expression of MGLL may play a role in cancer tumorigenesis and metastasis.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 11343; HGNC ID: HGNC:17038; UniProt: Q99685; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_007283.7; Chromosome location: 3q21.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
