About this gene: MGAT4B encodes a key glycosyltransferase that regulates the formation of tri- and multiantennary branching structures in the Golgi apparatus. The encoded protein, also to the related isoenzyme A, catalyzes the transfer of N-acetylglucosamine from UDP-GlcNAc in a beta-1,4 linkage to the Man-alpha-1,3-Man-beta-1,4-GlcNAc arm of R-Man-alpha-1,6Man-beta-1,4-GlcNAc-beta-1,4-GlcNAc-beta-1-Asn. The MGAT4B protein may play a role in regulating the availability of serum glycoproteins, oncogenesis, and differentiation.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
