SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human MGAT3 (beta-1,4-mannosyl-glycoprotein 4-beta-N-acetylglucosaminyltransferase, also called GNT-III) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human MGAT3 qPCR Primer Set – beta-1,4-mannosyl-glycoprotein 4-beta-N-acetylglucosaminyltransferase
Also known as: GNT-III, GNT3
About this gene: There are believed to be over 100 different glycosyltransferases involved in the synthesis of protein-bound and lipid-bound oligosaccharides. The enzyme encoded by MGAT3 transfers a GlcNAc residue to the beta-linked mannose of the trimannosyl core of N-linked oligosaccharides and produces a bisecting GlcNAc.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4248; HGNC ID: HGNC:7046; UniProt: Q09327; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002409.5; Chromosome location: 22q13.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
