SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human MFRP (membrane frizzled-related protein) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human MFRP qPCR Primer Set – membrane frizzled-related protein
Also known as: CTRP5, MCOP5, NNO2, RD6
About this gene: MFRP belongs to the frizzled-related protein family. The MFRP protein is important for eye development and mutations in MFRP have been linked to nanophthalmos, posterior microphthalmia, retinitis pigmentosa, foveoschisis, and optic disc drusen. The protein is encoded by a bicistronic transcript which also encodes C1q and tumor necrosis factor related protein 5.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 83552; HGNC ID: HGNC:18121; UniProt: Q9BY79; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_031433.4; Chromosome location: 11q23.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
