SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human MELTF (melanotransferrin) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human MELTF qPCR Primer Set – melanotransferrin
Also known as: CD228, MAP97, MFI2, MTF1, MTf
About this gene: The MELTF protein is a cell-surface glycoprotein found on melanoma cells. The protein shares sequence similarity and iron-binding properties with members of the transferrin superfamily. The importance of the iron binding function has not yet been identified.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4241; HGNC ID: HGNC:7037; UniProt: P08582; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_005929.6; Chromosome location: 3q29
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
