SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human METTL3 (methyltransferase 3, N6-adenosine-methyltransferase complex catalytic subunit, also called MT-A70) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human METTL3 qPCR Primer Set – methyltransferase 3, N6-adenosine-methyltransferase complex catalytic subunit
Also known as: IME4, M6A, MT-A70, Spo8, hMETTL3
About this gene: METTL3 encodes a 70 kDa subunit of MT-A which is part of N6-adenosine-methyltransferase. This enzyme is involved in the posttranscriptional methylation of internal adenosine residues in eukaryotic mRNAs, forming N6-methyladenosine.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 56339; HGNC ID: HGNC:17563; UniProt: Q86U44; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_019852.5; Chromosome location: 14q11.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
