SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human MET (MET proto-oncogene, receptor tyrosine kinase) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human MET qPCR Primer Set – MET proto-oncogene, receptor tyrosine kinase
Also known as: AUTS9, DA11, DFNB97, HGFR, RCCP2, c-Met
About this gene: Further processing of the beta subunit leads to the formation of the M10 peptide, which is reported to reduce lung fibrosis. Binding of its ligand, hepatocyte growth factor, induces dimerization and activation of the receptor, which is involved in cellular survival, embryogenesis, and cellular migration and invasion. Mutations in MET are linked to papillary renal cell carcinoma, hepatocellular carcinoma, and various head and neck cancers.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4233; HGNC ID: HGNC:7029; UniProt: P08581; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000245.4; Chromosome location: 7q31.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
