SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human MELK (maternal embryonic leucine zipper kinase, also called hPK38) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human MELK qPCR Primer Set – maternal embryonic leucine zipper kinase
Also known as: HPK38
About this gene: MELK enables calcium ion binding activity; non-membrane spanning protein tyrosine kinase activity; and protein serine/threonine kinase activity. It is involved in apoptotic process; cell population proliferation; and protein autophosphorylation.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 9833; HGNC ID: HGNC:16870; UniProt: Q14680; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_014791.4; Chromosome location: 9p13.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
