About this gene: The product of MEF2B belongs to the MADS/MEF2 family of DNA binding proteins. The protein is believed to regulate gene expression, including expression of the smooth muscle myosin heavy chain gene. Several isoforms of this protein are expressed from either this locus or from some of the read-through transcripts annotated on GeneID 4207.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
