About this gene: The MEF2A protein is a DNA-binding transcription factor that activates many muscle-specific, growth factor-induced, and stress-induced genes. The MEF2A protein can act as a homodimer or as a heterodimer and is involved in multiple cellular processes, including muscle development, neuronal differentiation, cell growth control, and apoptosis. Defects in MEF2A could be a cause of autosomal dominant coronary artery disease 1 with myocardial infarction.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
