SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human ME1 (malic enzyme 1, also called NADP-ME) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human ME1 qPCR Primer Set – malic enzyme 1
Also known as: HUMNDME, MES
About this gene: ME1 encodes a cytosolic, NADP-dependent enzyme that generates NADPH for fatty acid biosynthesis. The activity of this enzyme, the reversible oxidative decarboxylation of malate, links the glycolytic and citric acid cycles. The regulation of expression for ME1 is complex.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4199; HGNC ID: HGNC:6983; UniProt: P48163; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002395.6; Chromosome location: 6q14.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
