Human ALG13 qPCR Primer Set – ALG13 UDP-N-acetylglucosaminyltransferase subunit

Also known as: CDG1S, CXorf45, DEE36, EIEE36, GLT28D1, MDS031, TDRD13, YGL047W

About this gene: The ALG13 protein is a subunit of a bipartite UDP-N-acetylglucosamine transferase. The ALG13 gene product heterodimerizes with asparagine-linked glycosylation 14 homolog to form a functional UDP-GlcNAc glycosyltransferase that catalyzes the second sugar addition of the highly conserved oligosaccharide precursor in endoplasmic reticulum N-linked glycosylation.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 79868; HGNC ID: HGNC:30881; UniProt: Q9NP73; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001099922.3; Chromosome location: Xq23

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
