About this gene: The MCM5 protein is structurally very similar to the CDC46 protein from S. cerevisiae, a protein involved in the initiation of DNA replication. The MCM5 protein belongs to the MCM family of chromatin-binding proteins and can interact with at least two other members of this family. The MCM5 protein is upregulated in the transition from the G0 to G1/S phase of the cell cycle and may actively participate in cell cycle regulation.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
