SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human MAT2A (methionine adenosyltransferase 2A, also called MAT-II) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human MAT2A qPCR Primer Set – methionine adenosyltransferase 2A
Also known as: MATA2, MATII, SAMS2
About this gene: The MAT2A protein catalyzes the production of S-adenosylmethionine from methionine and ATP. AdoMet is the key methyl donor in cellular processes.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4144; HGNC ID: HGNC:6904; UniProt: P31153; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_005911.6; Chromosome location: 2p11.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
