Human MASP1 qPCR Primer Set – MBL associated serine protease 1

Also known as: 3MC1, CRARF, CRARF1, MAP-1, MAP1, MASP, MASP-3, MASP3, MAp44, PRSS5, RaRF

About this gene: MASP1 encodes a serine protease that acts as a component of the lectin pathway of complement activation. The complement pathway plays an essential role in the innate and adaptive immune response. The MASP1 protein is synthesized as a zymogen and is activated when it complexes with the pathogen recognition molecules of lectin pathway, the mannose-binding lectin and the ficolins.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5648; HGNC ID: HGNC:6901; UniProt: P48740; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_139125.4; Chromosome location: 3q27.3

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
