Human MAPK8IP3 qPCR Primer Set – mitogen-activated protein kinase 8 interacting protein 3
Also known as: JIP-3, JIP3, JSAP1, NEDBA, SYD2, syd
About this gene: The MAPK8IP3 protein shares similarity with the product of Drosophila syd gene, required for the functional interaction of kinesin I with axonal cargo. Studies of the similar gene in mouse suggested that this protein may interact with, and regulate the activity of numerous protein kinases of the JNK signaling pathway, and thus function as a scaffold protein in neuronal cells.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 23162; HGNC ID: HGNC:6884; UniProt: Q9UPT6; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001318852.2; Chromosome location: 16p13.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
