SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human MAPK8 (mitogen-activated protein kinase 8, also called JNK1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human MAPK8 qPCR Primer Set – mitogen-activated protein kinase 8
Also known as: JNK, JNK-46, JNK1, JNK1A2, JNK21B1/2, PRKM8, SAPK1, SAPK1c
About this gene: The MAPK8 protein belongs to the MAP kinase family. MAP kinases act as an integration point for multiple biochemical signals, and are involved in a wide variety of cellular processes such as proliferation, differentiation, transcription regulation and development. This kinase is activated by various cell stimuli, and targets specific transcription factors, and thus mediates immediate-early gene expression in response to cell stimuli.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5599; HGNC ID: HGNC:6881; UniProt: P45983; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001323329.2; Chromosome location: 10q11.22
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
