SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human MAPK14 (mitogen-activated protein kinase 14, also called p38alpha) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human MAPK14 qPCR Primer Set – mitogen-activated protein kinase 14
Also known as: CSBP, CSBP1, CSBP2, CSPB1, EXIP, Mxi2, PRKM14, PRKM15, RK, SAPK2A, p38, p38ALPHA
About this gene: The MAPK14 protein belongs to the MAP kinase family. MAP kinases act as an integration point for multiple biochemical signals, and are involved in a wide variety of cellular processes such as proliferation, differentiation, transcription regulation and development. This kinase is activated by various environmental stresses and proinflammatory cytokines.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 1432; HGNC ID: HGNC:6876; UniProt: Q16539; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_139012.3; Chromosome location: 6p21.31
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
