Human MAP4K2 qPCR Primer Set – mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase kinase kinase 2
Also known as: BL44, GCK, RAB8IP
About this gene: The MAP4K2 protein belongs to the serine/threonine protein kinase family. Although this kinase is found in many tissues, its expression in lymphoid follicles is restricted to the cells of germinal centre, where it may participate in B-cell differentiation. This kinase can be activated by TNF-alpha, and is reported to specifically activate MAP kinases.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5871; HGNC ID: HGNC:6864; UniProt: Q12851; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_004579.5; Chromosome location: 11q13.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
