About this gene: The MAP4 protein is a major non-neuronal microtubule-associated protein. The MAP4 protein contains a domain similar to the microtubule-binding domains of neuronal microtubule-associated protein and microtubule-associated protein tau. The MAP4 protein promotes microtubule assembly, and is reported to counteract destabilization of interphase microtubule catastrophe promotion.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
