SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human TAB1 (TGF-beta activated kinase 1 (MAP3K7) binding protein 1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human TAB1 qPCR Primer Set – TGF-beta activated kinase 1 (MAP3K7) binding protein 1
Also known as: 3'-Tab1, MAP3K7IP1
About this gene: The TAB1 protein was identified as a regulator of the MAP kinase kinase kinase MAP3K7/TAK1, which is known to mediate various intracellular signaling pathways, such as those induced by TGF beta, interleukin 1, and WNT-1. The TAB1 protein interacts and thus activates TAK1 kinase. The TAB1 gene product has been shown that the C-terminal portion of this protein is sufficient for binding and activation of TAK1, while a portion of the N-terminus acts as a dominant-negative inhibitor of TGF beta.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 10454; HGNC ID: HGNC:18157; UniProt: Q15750; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_006116.3; Chromosome location: 22q13.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
