Human MAP3K5 qPCR Primer Set – mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase kinase 5
Also known as: ASK1, MAPKKK5, MEKK5
About this gene: Mitogen-activated protein kinase signaling cascades include MAPK or extracellular signal-regulated kinase, MAPK kinase, and MAPK kinase kinase. MAPKK kinase/MEKK phosphorylates and activates its downstream protein kinase, MAPK kinase/MEK, which in turn activates MAPK. The kinases of these signaling cascades are highly conserved, and homologs exist in yeast, Drosophila, and mammalian cells. MAPKKK5 contains 1,374 amino acids with all 11 kinase subdomains.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4217; HGNC ID: HGNC:6857; UniProt: Q99683; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_005923.4; Chromosome location: 6q23.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
