Human MAP2K3 qPCR Primer Set – mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase 3

Also known as: MAPKK3, MEK3, MKK3, PRKMK3, SAPKK-2, SAPKK2

About this gene: The MAP2K3 protein is a dual specificity protein kinase that belongs to the MAP kinase kinase family. This kinase is activated by mitogenic and environmental stress, and participates in the MAP kinase-mediated signaling cascade. The MAP2K3 gene product phosphorylates and thus activates MAPK14/p38-MAPK. This kinase can be activated by insulin, and is necessary for the expression of glucose transporter.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5606; HGNC ID: HGNC:6843; UniProt: P46734; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_145109.3; Chromosome location: 17p11.2

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
