Product Description

SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human MAP2K1 (mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase 1, also called MKK1) gene expression by real-time PCR.

Human MAP2K1 qPCR Primer Set – mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase 1

Also known as: CFC3, MAPKK1, MEK1, MEL, MKK1, PRKMK1

About this gene: The MAP2K1 protein belongs to the dual specificity protein kinase family, which acts as a mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase. MAP kinases, also known as extracellular signal-regulated kinases, act as an integration point for multiple biochemical signals. The MAP2K1 protein kinase lies upstream of MAP kinases and stimulates the enzymatic activity of MAP kinases upon wide variety of extra- and intracellular signals.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5604; HGNC ID: HGNC:6840; UniProt: Q02750; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002755.4; Chromosome location: 15q22.31

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
