SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human MAP2 (microtubule associated protein 2) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human MAP2 qPCR Primer Set – microtubule associated protein 2
Also known as: MAP-2, MAP2A, MAP2B, MAP2C
About this gene: MAP2 encodes a protein that belongs to the microtubule-associated protein family. The proteins of this family are thought to be involved in microtubule assembly, which is an essential step in neurogenesis. The products of similar genes in rat and mouse are neuron-specific cytoskeletal proteins that are enriched in dentrites, implicating a role in determining and stabilizing dentritic shape during neuron development.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4133; HGNC ID: HGNC:6839; UniProt: P11137; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001375505.1; Chromosome location: 2q34
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
