Human MAP1LC3B qPCR Primer Set – microtubule associated protein 1 light chain 3 beta
Also known as: ATG8F, LC3B, MAP1A/1BLC3, MAP1LC3B-a
About this gene: The product of MAP1LC3B is a subunit of neuronal microtubule-associated MAP1A and MAP1B proteins, which are involved in microtubule assembly and important for neurogenesis. Studies on the rat homolog implicate a role for MAP1LC3B in autophagy, a process that involves the bulk degradation of cytoplasmic component.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 81631; HGNC ID: HGNC:13352; UniProt: Q9GZQ8; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_022818.5; Chromosome location: 16q24.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
