SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human MANBA (mannosidase beta, also called Mannase) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human MANBA qPCR Primer Set – mannosidase beta
Also known as: MANB1
About this gene: MANBA belongs to the glycosyl hydrolase 2 family. The MANBA protein localizes to the lysosome where it is the final exoglycosidase in the pathway for N-linked glycoprotein oligosaccharide catabolism. Mutations in MANBA are linked to beta-mannosidosis, a lysosomal storage disease that has a wide spectrum of neurological involvement.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4126; HGNC ID: HGNC:6831; UniProt: O00462; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_005908.4; Chromosome location: 4q24
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
