SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human MAN1B1 (mannosidase alpha class 1B member 1, also called ERMan1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human MAN1B1 qPCR Primer Set – mannosidase alpha class 1B member 1
Also known as: ERMAN1, ERManI, MANA-ER, MRT15
About this gene: MAN1B1 encodes a enzyme belonging to the glycosyl hydrolase 47 family. This enzyme functions in N-glycan biosynthesis, and is a class I alpha-1,2-mannosidase that specifically converts Man9GlcNAc to Man8GlcNAc isomer B. It is required for N-glycan trimming to Man5-6GlcNAc2 in the endoplasmic-reticulum-associated degradation pathway. Mutations in MAN1B1 cause autosomal-recessive intellectual disability.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 11253; HGNC ID: HGNC:6823; UniProt: Q9UKM7; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_016219.5; Chromosome location: 9q34.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
