SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human MAK (male germ cell associated kinase) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human MAK qPCR Primer Set – male germ cell associated kinase
Also known as: RP62
About this gene: The product of MAK is a serine/threonine protein kinase related to kinases involved in cell cycle regulation. Studies of the mouse and rat homologs have localized the kinase to the chromosomes during meiosis in spermatogenesis, specifically to the synaptonemal complex that exists while homologous chromosomes are paired. Mutations in MAK have been linked to ciliary defects resulting in retinitis pigmentosa 62.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4117; HGNC ID: HGNC:6816; UniProt: P20794; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001242957.3; Chromosome location: 6p24.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
