SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human MAFG (MAF bZIP transcription factor G, also called hMAF) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human MAFG qPCR Primer Set – MAF bZIP transcription factor G
Also known as: hMAF
About this gene: Globin gene expression is regulated through nuclear factor erythroid-2 elements located in enhancer-like locus control regions positioned many kb upstream of alpha- and beta-gene clusters. NFE2 DNA-binding activity consists of a heterodimer containing a ubiquitous small Maf protein and the tissue-restricted protein p45 NFE2. Both subunits are members of the activator protein-1-like superfamily of basic leucine zipper proteins.[supplied by OMIM, Mar 2010].
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4097; HGNC ID: HGNC:6781; UniProt: O15525; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002359.4; Chromosome location: 17q25.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
