SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human MAF (MAF bZIP transcription factor) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human MAF qPCR Primer Set – MAF bZIP transcription factor
Also known as: AYGRP, CCA4, CTRCT21, c-MAF
About this gene: The MAF protein is a DNA-binding, leucine zipper-containing transcription factor that acts as a homodimer or as a heterodimer. Depending on the binding site and binding partner, the MAF protein can be a transcriptional activator or repressor. The MAF protein is involved in the regulation of multiple cellular processes, including embryonic lens fiber cell development, increased T-cell susceptibility to apoptosis, and chondrocyte terminal differentiation.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4094; HGNC ID: HGNC:6776; UniProt: O75444; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_005360.5; Chromosome location: 16q23.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
