SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human LZTFL1 (leucine zipper transcription factor like 1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human LZTFL1 qPCR Primer Set – leucine zipper transcription factor like 1
Also known as: BBS17
About this gene: LZTFL1 encodes a ubiquitously expressed protein that localizes to the cytoplasm. The LZTFL1 protein interacts with Bardet-Biedl Syndrome proteins and, through its interaction with BBS protein complexes, regulates protein trafficking to the ciliary membrane. Nonsense mutations in LZTFL1 cause a form of Bardet-Biedl Syndrome; a ciliopathy characterized in part by polydactyly, obesity, cognitive impairment, hypogonadism, and kidney failure.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 54585; HGNC ID: HGNC:6741; UniProt: Q9NQ48; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_020347.4; Chromosome location: 3p21.31
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
