SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PLA2G15 (phospholipase A2 group XV, also called ACS) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PLA2G15 qPCR Primer Set – phospholipase A2 group XV
Also known as: ACS, GXVPLA2, LLPL, LPLA2, LYPLA3
About this gene: Lysophospholipases are enzymes that act on biological membranes to regulate the multifunctional lysophospholipids. The PLA2G15 protein hydrolyzes lysophosphatidylcholine to glycerophosphorylcholine and a free fatty acid. This enzyme is present in the plasma and thought to be linked to high-density lipoprotein.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 23659; HGNC ID: HGNC:17163; UniProt: Q8NCC3; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_012320.4; Chromosome location: 16q22.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
